Hello And Help!

Hi everyone

 

I'm on my 2nd galaxy (1st was written off Ahhh) but one of the electric windows has packed up (rear drivers).

Does anyone know if there is a motor in the door itself and is it easy to check/replace?

 

Both door buttons won't work and neither does the key in the door lock.

hi and welcome check in the faqs in the technical section(broken wires)once you have checked them CHECK again this may sort out a lo tof your problems,hth.

Did as you said and found a cut wire in the door rubber bit(!) - a crimp later and the window works lovely.

I also found a cut in the speaker wire that shorted out the speaker from time to time.

Strange that there was no sign of damage to the rubber (Still don't know what to call it).

 

But there you go
