Central Locking & Windows !

been here searching and reading for days now and cant get anywhere with the windows and central locking !!

 

now the car has had the leak in passenger foot well BUT she has not got the box under the seat ! i have a loom running under the seat with one wire coming out and going to earth (brown cable) the passenger seat has been removed as i could not find the box !!

 

I have checked all fuses under the steering wheel all ok (i say that incase there is fuse else where i cant find any though)

 

I have checked all the door plugs for corroded and broken cables only had two nipped insulation on the boot door ! but nothing broken

if the control box is not under the passenger seat can any one tell me where ford has moved it too ?

Ford moved the box to behind the drivers lower facia where the fuse box is according to haynes manual hope this helps i have all sorts of problems with CL Also

do you know if its on the fuse box tray ? if so do you know which relay it is ? or is there another box under there !? (cant find any other box there !!)

Hi, just an idea, check the live feed to the doors from the control box, mine had dodgy soldered joint behind the dash, took me two days of fruitless searching and eventually two days of searching by a ford technician to find it. He just soldered a new supply wire in and solved the problem.

By the way, the locking and window control unit is intergrated with the fuse box when you imediatly open the fuse cover, it's the whole unit with the leads going into it. They rarely fail but when they do its
