Little Bit Ot: Ford Audio Wire Diagram

Hi,

Had the car audio connector cable cut in L reg escort. (broken into and thief decided to cut the wires rather than disconect the connector.)

Does anyone have any wire diagrams so i can wire the cables that are left to a new conector to conect a new headunit to.

 

I asume ford use a standard conector, but i am not sure.

Try your ICE car shop they may have an interconnecting lead

From ford to another radio plug

This may give you wiring colours

 

Failing that look at rear of back speakers and the wires will correspond

with the head unit connector do same with front

 

Then test for pos neg lights on illumination
