clockie Posted May 25, 2008 Report Posted May 25, 2008 I have a mk1 Galaxy. I am going on an overnight trip and do not want to take my trailer tent. There is plenty of space inside to sleep with some of the seats removed. But how can I lock the central locking when I am inside ready to kip ? Thanks guys for your help. Quote

You can deadlock it from the inside, push the drivers door handle in from the inside and it should lock all doors and hence lock the car.Its how i had to lock my car till i got the locking sorted out. big_kev Posted May 25, 2008 Report Posted May 25, 2008 Remember to leave one of the windows slightly open otherwise it will be saturated inside. IIRC locking the drivers door from the inside does not set the alarm ( if you have one ).Whereas locking it from the outside does. And therefore you don't have to worry about it being activated due to any violent rocking of the vehicle....you know what i mean... :) Quote

clockie Posted May 25, 2008 Author Report Posted May 25, 2008 THANKS for increasing my knowledge of the Galaxy, it continues to surprise me. I think the only rocking it will get is driving over a cattle grid ! At least I know how to lock it internally. Quote
