Warm Engine Wont Start.

Hi Guys,

I haven't been on here for some time now and was wondering if anyone could help.

My 1.9 tdi (1999) wont start when its warm.....but left for 10 mins, it fires up fine.

Once running, it seems to run perfectly.....just hope I dont stall!!

Any ideas as to the possible problem?

we had this problem now and agagin, seems like a gremlin with no apparant cause, it comes and goes , no faults on the scan. we coated the fuel pipes where they go in an dout of the fuel filter with grease to block any air leaks. hasnt happened now for a fair while. i think its a common trait and nothing to worry about

Its strange, as the car seems perfect...once its going!!

The main worry is Mrs and 4 kids in the car, which then wont start.

Guess its another one of those "galaxy kwerks" !!
