Folding Rear Seats Vw Sharan

Do the rear most seats fold outwards to create a space in the middle on the VW Sharan only ?? Just wondered because a friend of mine is looking for one, and I didn't realise they did, has anyone got a picture of them like that ?

I can only refer to all models but the latest - the fold forward like the MKI & II Galaxys. There may well be a later model Sharan which I've not seen yet but late last year the seating hadn't changed on the Sharan but the Galaxy now has seats that fold fairly flat to the floor

The rear most seats can fold forwards to create a space at the rear...you may need to adjust the middle seats a bit.

 

There is not physically enough room for them to fold outwards ( sideways) to create a space in the middle.....and mechanically they can't do this anyway.
