Touring Suspension

I have just purchased an 03 1.9 Tdi Ghia for towing and have found the suspension seems to be soft and bouncy even when maintaining the 80 kg nose weight. Has anybody tried spring assister's to stiffen up the rear suspension? If what did you fit

Im suprised you find it bouncey and soft.

Years ago i fitted some spring assistors to a Mondeo for towing and it made it a lot better but cant remember what make they were

You sound as if you need new shockers

Sounds to me you may be right Sk ..... don't remember mine being soft and bouncy with a van on the back in fact, quite the opposite.

fully adjustable coilovers on the front end and adjustable spring mounts on the rear with uprated shocks and springs! possible no good for towing but hey you asked :wacko:
