Michael_H Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 Can anybody tell me if I can get the actual current HorsePower of my vehicle verified, and if yes, where can I get it done in London? Apart from the Fraud dealers obviosly... I have seen an episode of Top Gear where a mobile unit came along and the car was strapped on it and then tested. It does not have to be mobile, just want to know how the test is called and where can I have it done. Just need to know how much life my engine has got into it. Thanks Quote
tdi90 Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Dyno'd. It'll not tell you how long your engine will last though, only the horsepower and torque figures. Prob cost a fair few quid to have it tested as well. Quote
searcher Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Sounds like your talking about a rollng road but that will cost you a fair bit. Do a google search, im sure it will come up with something. Quote
chromedome Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 You probably need to look for a Dyno Tuning Centre. Must be one around somewhere, I'm sure all these "boy racers" use them to boost their egos. :) Quote
