Turbos

hi could anyone tell me if the turbo on a gal 2001 1.9 pd diesel 115 ps. is the same as a 130 ps many thanks.

Hi mate, The turbos are different, the 130bhp turbo is built into the exhaust manifold, the 115bhp turbo bolts to the manifold.

Just to clear up any confusion, 115BHP AUY engines have garret turbo chargers that bolts to the exhaust manifold with a 4 bolt flange, the 130BHP ASZ engines have a different make ( if I remember correctly, Borg Warner?) which are cast into the exhaust manifold, ie the turbine exhaust housing is part of the exhaust manifold and the turbo has to be built into the manifold.
