big_kev Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 So we had an offer on our house which we were happy with and accepted...full asking price...cash buyer...yippee de doo dah.. ;) Then we looked about for another house......Something cheap and accommodating near Gainsborough....Could be in trouble for that comment...never mind. Anyhow we found one we really liked and this morning put an offer in :D So I am on the phone to the estate agent and I can hear my works mobile ringing in my pocket...I quickly finish the call and tell them my offer....and then answer my mobile. Its my boss....contracts gone belly up and you finish next week.. Laugh.....not quite !! If there is a God he ( more likely she ! ) is an evil ******* Quote
Bigjeeze Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Sorry to hear that Kev Hope it works out for you. Maybe you'll win the rollover this week!! Quote
big_kev Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 Maybe you'll win the rollover this week!! It would certainly help, financially it shouldn't be too bad, just the hassle of getting another job, plenty out there. However it just knackers the idea of moving till I get one.In the light of the current sub-prime mortgage fiasco I somehow don't think they will offer me one unless I am in employment. This means I have to get a job pretty damn quick before my buyers start knocking on the door and I have to explain that the house sale has gone tyts up.Also means I can't make a higher offer on the house we fancy either. Hopefully I will get one ( seen a few already ) and this will be no more than a hiccup in procedings. Obviously the wife has offered her usual full support and understanding.....not once did she blame me for anything.....several dozen times....but never once....you know what the're like. Quote
big_kev Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 heck hun, sorry to hear it. ;) That's ok Pet.....nothing that a big wet kiss wont cure. At the end of the day its not that bad, no one died ! Well not yet anyway... Quote

I am both intrigued and lost. (this took me ages)the first set in binary adds up to 130. A Galaxy HP perhaps? The second set adds up to 169? and it has an extra zero on the front doing nothing? What does it all mean? Quote
Smilge Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Sorry Tram ... it's not just a matter of "adding" up the Binary code but the looking at the overall spectrum generated by using an SSB waveform. When you modulate the carrier using a pseudo random bit sequence the pulse width and therefore the PRF will constantly change. This has the effect of shifting the frequency of the lines in the power spectrum and also the rate of amplitude variation. Quote
