Problem Being Major Headache

i have the seat alhambra 1.9tdi on a 97 plate and got a slight problem

while driving the car it will tend to stutter every now and then as in stutter i mean the judder you get when running out of fuel

if i acelarate a bit more it stops or take foot of pedal it will stop but sometimes comes back after a while sometimes its great and dont get this problem at all

i have tried using some redex diesel treatment to see if that will cure it but nope

tried changing diesel fuel filter but nope still same

so now i'm pulling my hair out , also tried today disconnecting the MAF and gosh i was glad to get to that layby lol i had no power at all while it was diconected well i say no power i think ernie the fastest milkman went by me laughing lol any ideas anyone

do you mean stutter or is it just loss of power, if it is loosing power there are a few things you need to check,

I have had something similar when fitting a non ford MAF sensor. It would pulse at lower revs and be quite lumpy to drive. Fitting a proper MAF cured it
