just posting a couple of shots of a dead scooby engine :angry2: the crank shaft now has a two step offset taper on it and a triangular key way slot! the inner crank pulley that drives the cam belt has a two step key way slot where the woodruff key ate its way loose and took a bite of the crank shaft with it! not to mention the outer aux drive belt pully than is now a taper fit pully! tapered to fit what exactly we will never know! as its a totally different taper to the crank shaft!

so today was spent sourcing a replacement engine, which I'm pleased to say was done and in the process a higher speced engine was found with an increase of 15/20 bhp :)

so thats my week nights after work planned out for the next couple of weeks, old lump out, clean up the bay, remove the loom and ECU in readyness for the new lump/loom and ECU and a few nights cleaning up the new lump in readyness for slotting it in ;)
