Incey Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Hi, I am new to this forum having jsut purchased a 1.8 Ghia Galaxy. We recently had twins (10 months old now) and foolishly thought we would be able to get by with a C-Max! Our first trip out changed our minds. Anyway we are very happy with our new purchase and although we will still need a roof box when we go on holidays (we doo have two dogs also) think the Galaxy has all the space and functionality we need. As a bonus we managed to get one with the Ford fitted Multimedia DVD system complete with headrest screens and remote headphones. The only problem is that I not sure it's best to try and put headphones on a toddler! Is there any way of getting sound out of the in car stereo or has anyone rigged up extra speakers from the DVD? Thanks for any suggestions. Incey... :D Quote
Smilge Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Incey are there any audio outputs apart from the remote headphone? If there are you can buy a Belkin Tunecast II FM transmitter where you plug the 3.5mm jack into the audio output, try and find a free frequency to transmit on and then tune one of the radio channels into this frequency. Although the sound isn't spectacular, it's good enough for the kiddies. Quote
