Guest Sword Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I fitted my centurian roof mount screen myself. The unit supports itself with a small 4 inch plate. I had to cut the lining away just enough to place the plate through. Then with alot of patience drill 4 holes through the lining. Then the mounting screws through thre monitor through the lining into the metal plate. As the screens dont weigh much, the lining takes the weight easily. All I had to do is take the side trim off the side of the car (inside) to feed the cables through. I put my dvd unit under the drivers seat. Was all installed within 2 hours. Quote
Guest BagPuss Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 What size is your screen unit?I'm looking at a hefty 15.1" or 17.1" screen and sure the roof lining wont take that sort of weight? Maybe a 7" or 8" screen maybe. Plus I've got the sunrrof in mine as well, so got to look at allowing the panel to slide back enough. Quote
Guest Cepheus Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 (edited) I'm looking at a hefty 15.1" or 17.1" screen man .... you going to put "ODEON" down the side and charge admission too???? Swearing removed. Please don't do it, it's not clever...... Masked. Edited May 19, 2006 by Masked Marauder Quote
