why would someone think blocking other people is funny. I seldom write anything here, but that really is a bit odd.

Anyway, if you're in the middle lane we can overtake using the other two, so be my guest....

Strange, very strange....

Well to start with you totally missed the point of the original post but im not going to explain it as its an old post now.

No ones hate the middle lane hogger more than me, its unfortunate that some caravans tend to do this so hence they get a bad reputation.

Why anyone gets uptight about "middle lane hogging" is beyond me. There is an outside lane as well.......

The inside lane is for trucks and horse drawn carriages.

The middle lane is for sensible drivers.

The outside lane is for "important people" (or at least they think they are :) )

Anyone who gets worked up and uptight about their idea of motorway etiquette is looking for and probably deserves a heart attack....... ;)

well I hate to say it...........but I agree with mk2vr6 on this one... :)

Anyhow I thought..

Lane 1 ( outside lane....as its on the outside ? )....this is for slow sensibly driven vehicles.

Lane 2 ( middle lane ).....Women and Old Men (possibly trying to achieve 60mpg )....or to pass slower vehicles in lane 1.

Lane 3 ( inside lane ? ) .....only to be used for overtaking slower vehicles in the lane 2.

NOTE: vehicles made by BMW & Mercedes are not alowed in lane 1 or 2 except in the first 10 metres when joining or leaving the motorway.

Well i knew when i started this thread it would get the anti caravan brigade going but i didnt expect it to take a month to happen :)

And they complain that we drive too slow........ ;)

umm so which is the outside lane then ??

the faster one near the central reservation (my choice)

or

the one nearest the verge/hard shoulder (the missus)

I'll get my coat .....
