I am trying to replace the battery on my 2001 1.9PD its marked up as a Varta 760A 95Ahr and its large - going to Harrison ford in Peterborough or Huntingdon they say they cant match this - the best they can do is a 80Ahr :D at Edited by NikpV

go to any car spares shop and ask for an 017 number battery, that is the correct aftermarket fitting and usually depending on brand go from 88-92 a/h , the oe ford batteries dont have the aftermarket numbers on them. the av price for one is

ok - cant get the calcium variant at any of the places I've tried - I now have the calcium one from ford - cost
