amjad karim Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Hi guys, Finally got around to finding out which parking sensors I need to replace on my galaxy (front drivers side middle and rear passenger side corner). I managed to pull out the rear one but couldnt get the loom off which I guess I just need to perservere with but how do i get the front one out? Does the trim on which it is mounted come out? or do I need to take the front grill out? I searched the topic before and saw a pic posted of the sensor away from what looks like the holding bracked. Is this removed by just brute force or is there a clasp of some kind? Any advice or pics especially would be great. I have been quoted 60quid a sensor by ford, is that reasonable? Thanks in advance Quote
searcher Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 You have to remove the whole plastic trim.IIRC lever it out at the end near to the wheel.Once you have the end out slowly pull it out and the whole trim will unclip.Once out the sensor is held in position by a clip very much like the rear ones. The price isnt that far out.Theyre expensive little sods Quote
