Cam Belt Or Timing Chain!

Hi All,

 

I felt a bit of a t**t the other day when I raised a question about Galaxii having a belt or a chain. Either way all sorted now. Car is being booked in to have this done asap.

 

?? I know that when this is done it is normal to have the water pump replaced, but is it normal to also have the tensioner replaced.

 

Secondly what is usual cost of this job. I am being quoted EUR587 inc.VAT This being Ireland I am full sure that anyone in UK will be horrified at this but would be interested to know anyway.
