Automatic Gearlever Light

Hi all,

 

First post (probably not the last)!! Can anyone help me find a "cheap" supplier of dashboard lights, I have one blown at the heating controls and have only realised that the gearlever should also be illuminated :o

 

any help in finding these parts would be gratefully appreciated as long as it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg

try your local motor factors, halfords etc....

Tried Halfords not too helpful, (I think that was down to their computer system more than anything else)

 

Also tried the Scrappy, no luck!

 

all that is left is the ford dealer cross your fingers for me that they are not going to charge me a fortune, will post costs if anyone is interested??

if you can get the old bulbs out you can match them to the ones on the rack at halfords, that way you know you have the correct ones! mind you they are not that dear from the dealers apart from the cigar lighter one! which is no longer available but is when you buy a new cigar lighter as its part of the unit! :o yet i believe VW still stock it as a seperate item?
