katman Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) My alternator failed about 6 weeks ago and I came home on a recovery truck as I was 150 miles form home and the main dealer couldnt do it on the spot. I took my Galaxy to a local garage that specialises in just doing alternators and starters. They removed the alternator, stripped it down, replaced the diode pack and refitted it all for Edited April 11, 2008 by katman Quote
