Labour of installng new bottle Parts cost of new bottle Labour of replacing with old bottle Any other difference between quoted cost and actual cost of replacing pump Cost of breaking Robs ass Only problem is - we dont have a new water pump so it will be late tomorrow Me: Thank-you..... blood pressure now retuning to normal What do you reckon on the chances on it passing the MOT now then??? NikpV Posted April 12, 2008 Author Report Posted April 12, 2008 Ok so it passed the MOT - see later Go To pick it up :-- no Formulas SD can with 0.5l of oil in it, THEM - its ok we have SD oil on tapMe - Its quite important THEM - Ill check.... yes Workshop manager said it ws the correct oil but not from the can Me goes outside and checks the cills, air con, parking sensors and Oil - oops overfilled by about 0.5l, Goes back in ME the oils been overfilled THEM its alright wont hurt ME it says in the engine bay 'Do not overfill oil damager to cat may occur'THEM no it doesntME come and have a lookTHEM oh - well nobody to look at it now, bring it back first thing in the morning ME drives home ... first left turn indicates and click/click/click (thinks bulbs gone what a co-inciedence) thinks further thats the side they did the water bottle on - turns lights on and sure enough the blown bulb indicator comes on. Stops car no lights at all on front nearside. Oh well we all make mistakes probably a connection missing. Will talk to them in the morning Drives home - further thoughts ... the last thing they did was the MOT and it PASSED with no NEARSIDE FRONT LIGHTS!!!!!! Gets home and checked the finis number on the oil on the invoice - was for 5l container of oil ... lying b*stards Quote
NikpV Posted April 12, 2008 Author Report Posted April 12, 2008 OK so arrives this morning at the desk 7.45 - 5 peeps behind me in the queue ME - could I talk to the service manager please THEM No hes not in and bno you cant talk to the workshop manager...he doesnt talk to the publicME ok so heres the situation, honest mistakes I can undersand but it says on the invoice ..... thats either fraud or an honest mistake which is it .. take your time think about it, oh and by the way you gave me an MOT certificate on a vehicle with no nearside front lights - I can understand them not being connected but to not test them on the MOT (mentions VOSA) Very interersted audience THEM Can I have your invoice pleaseME I'd rather not please use your copyTHEM Can I please have the invoice to copy then ME Ok so long as I do it for you wheres the copier I copy invoice and pass it to her THEM Can I deal with thse gentlemen firstME No I dropped this car off 3 days ago - lets sort it out firstTHEM (Very red faced by now) calls workshop manager and gives him the invoice copy into the office we go ... HIM Ok I made a mistake last night and told the front desk that it was SD oil on tap but we did put in SD from a container ME Sorry mate but I dont feel very trusting now .. since you have to drain some oil out leave it 20 mins and fill from this conatiner of SD (one I brought with me)THEM so you are not worroied about the missing 0.5l of oil ME no I am worried about what you put in my engineTHEM it was sd but since you are prepared to supply your own oil I am convinced that you are woriied about the oil in the engine I will redo the oil change with you watching and give you a free 5l of SD oil and sort out the lights NOW RESULT Went in with 5l of SD + engine full of ???Came out with 10l of SD + engine fiull of SD + lights working FRONT DEsk Pissed off - I did apologise to them and explained if they dont allow customers to speak to those doiing the job then they have to take the flak (great impression of Bulldog Chewing wasp) Cant give you whole converstion but thats the gist Quote
