Guest ANDY FITZGERALD Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 <_< ANYBODY KNOW IF THERE IS A CONNECTOR IN THE LOOM PRIOR TO THE RUBBER BOOT (INSIDE CAR TRIM PANEL OR HEADLINING BY TAILGATE) HAVE A NEW RUBBER BOOT TO FIT AND NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE WIRING CAN BE UNPLUGGED... HAVE CHECKED THE FORD T.I.S. CD AND FOUND NOTHING ON THE SUBJECT AT ALL. HAVE CHECKED PREVIOUS POSTS NOTHING ON WHERE THE WIRING LOOM MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE CONNECTORS I KNOW THIS IS A PROBLEM AREA ON THESE CARS I WAS LOOKING ROUND A S/HAND LOT AND MOST OF THE GALAXY`S HAD THIS PROBLEM. Guest nimrod Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 isnt there a connector for the tailgate wireing in the cubby hole on the passenger side where you gain access to the rear lights? its a bit far away from the rubber boot, but the only other option is to cut the cables up under the headlining and rejoin them there! from reading other posts on here it seems you will end up doing this in the end anyway <_< Quote
