wibble Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 In a MKIII where on earth are you supposed to put the boot cover (like a roller blind) when you suddenly need that extra seat or two? In the MKI I used to just wedge it on the window ledges behind the rear row but the MKIII is far too narrow to do that, as is most of the length of the car, and I won't slide lengthways under or between the seats. Steve Ashby Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Yep I found the same issue too really pain, I stored my in the garage when I needed all seven seats, and it hasn't been out since. Kinda defeats the object of being able to put up seven seats in a hurry if you need to. The rear tints stop the casual observer looking in anyway. Plus I never have anything interesting in the boot anyway pushchairs etc Quote

With a little help from my brother in law I found it will fit on the window ledges just behind the third row but it is a real pain & much harder that the MKII had hoped they would have added a forward section too to cover the middle section when you have all seats down. All it requires is a second roller blind with hooks on the back of the front seats. I suppose I'll have to make something. Quote
