Load Covers For New Galaxy

Hi

 

i bought my new galaxy in September 2007 and would like to get a load cover for when the rear seats are down for security. It appears that this is not an accessory for the new galaxy whereas the Mk II did have one. Does anyone know whether this is still the case? Has anyone tried to fit the cover from an old style galxy to the new one?

Hi,

 

Have had the use of an S-max for over a year, and this certainly has a load cover.

Just had a look on eCat, and load covers are available for Galaxy and S-Max, although not as an accessory kit as yet. The cover itself is around

Many thanks for that george, the parts department of my local dealer was very unhelpful when I first bought the car. I will be trying again.

I took delivery of a new Galaxy about 3 weeks ago and was surprised it didn't come with a load cover (Ford call it a 'Tonneau' cover, I think). I bought one from the Ford Main dealer I bought the car from for about

Forgot to say - I didn't need to get any brackets for the cover to fit onto/into - they were already on the car. It is a 2008 1/2 Spec (as the dealer calls it) 2.0 TDCI Ghia.
