ocean238 Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 HI I came across a Galaxy today with a huge rattle when the wheel turns (sounds like some metal banging), and also the screenwash pump doesn't seem to work, also a couple of other things, The screenwash is just a simple replacement of the motor right? is it located at the bottom for the front bumper on the passenger side? I had a quick look today and just want to make sure before starting work on it But I am not too sure about the rattle, it sounds like it's coming from the driveshaft... Thanks for your help guys! Neils TDi again Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Not sure of the age or model of the Gal you refer to but drive shaft failure is relatively common and results in not only noise but an out of balance and vibration when driving, easily replaced but can be expensive. The water pump is normally just seized by dirt but still needs to be replaced. Good Luck and Welcome to the forum Quote
