^{I have a 55 plate Galaxy 1.9 tdi 150 PS Ghia}

 

^{It was a Ford Direct car purchased through a Ford dealership}

 

^{I have had it 16 months and it has been in the garage for a total of 13 times the last 11 times since October.}

 

^{The last time it went in was to have a new ignition Halo fitted and 2 new keys programmed.}

^{The work was carried out but when I collected the car it didn't have any interior lights}

^{or a feature that was present on the indicators- if you tap the indicator up or down it should indicate 3 times and then stop,handy for changing lanes o the motorway}

 

^{It went back again and they said it needed some sort of module relating to the fuses.}

 

^{A few days later it went in to have the module fitted, the interior lights work now but not the indicator feature,they had it back again to programme the feture back in, no luck Ford Technical say that the featur is no longer available as it is not within the odule fitted!}

 

^{I have also lost global unlocking which meant when I used the remote key to unlock the car if I held the button down all the windows would go down,(handy in the summer)}

 

^{I have been told by Ford Customer care that neither of these are available now.}

 

^{So I have bought and paid for a car that has less features now than when I purchased it.}

 

^{Customer care said -tough ther'e nothing they can do, the dealer says tough it's Ford's fault not theirs that they can't replace the features!}

^{HELP! I don't think it's fair that I should be the one to loose out, and why aren't the parts available to repair it the spec it was when I bought it.}

iirc this is a simple reprogram exercise by ford using there sofware,sounds like they cant be arsed,give the trade and standards a call and see what they have to say about the problems your having with fords,hth

Considering its Fords we talking about, why am i not surprised, make a list of what worked before, and what doesnt now, as zaffy boi has said, give TS a call and explain everything.the times its gone in etc...

 

You paid for what the car had, and some of what it had has now gone.try and get some money back out of the robbing b@stards!

write the buggers a letter putting everything down aswell.Besides, Fords aint got a clue where the galaxy is concerned!
