first off John just noticed your location! you have my condolances  I try not to visit MK unless I really have to! and now back to the water ingress problem! check the trim around the lower edge of the windscreen this is a known cause of water ingress problems due the locating holes this trim panel has! it has been known for people to seal these holes with a dab of mastic before now and check the condition of the seal around the screen? has it been replaced at all? and sealed badly? just had two screens replaced on my T5 and both leaked due to installer errors!

hi and welcome, have V plate 2.3, i found the side plates on the windscreen exterior needed sealing up with clear silicon, sorted it then, hold a hose up to windscreen, i placed it under one of the wipers, and pull carpet back on footwell, you should see it forming wee runs, has it had a new windscreen, or the trim removed? stev fae glasgow

john i had this problem when i had mine ... take off the plastic surround from exterior of car the little black things that hold the plastic on,take them out put silicone sealent around the holes then put plastic bits back on... we sealed all the holes just to be on safe side and it stopped apparently the holes go straight into cabin so i was told
