Double Locking

Evening all,

My central locking still works from the key remote but the double locking has stopped working i did the alarm test and found that the drivers door doesnt beep under test can anyone tell me what the problem might be??

when you lock using the remote do you get a delayed second sound from any of the door locks - on a galaxy that may indicate a short/broken wire in the loom to the door ?? possibly similar on the mondeo Edited March 11, 2008 by NikpV

Janie sounds like the common problem of the connector coming off the back of the door sensor.

Thank you both for the pointers since i made the post i noticed now that the one touch window button has stopped working it still brings the window down but you have to hold the button could this be conected to the same wiring loom as the double lock wire?
