willywagga Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Just wondering, the air conditioning buttons on my Seat alhambra are sticky and at the moment the decreasing low main button gets stuck in causing the air to turn off when the fan speed drops to lowest, and needs to be freed with a small pin, any ideas how I can take them off and clean them. Or would there be a spring broken behind. Any help would be great. Quote
NikpV Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 would there be a spring broken behind. more likely a sticky drink from the wonderfully placed cup holders - assuming that you have the climate control unit below these  Quote
willywagga Posted March 5, 2008 Author Report Posted March 5, 2008 Thanks for that Nik but can I prise off the small rectancular buttons from the front without removing the console. Only one button is affected, since the car came back from garage  . not sure if it's just a coincidence. Quote
searcher Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 I have used just a small squirt of WD40 in between the buttons before now and that has worked a treat. Quote
willywagga Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 Thanks adrian that seems to have worked a treat. Buttons fully mobile. Great Cheers. Quote
