oblique Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 My Sharan (2.0l petrol) over the last week has stoped starting on first attempt. It will turn over fine but only seems to start firing when i let go of the key untill the tird or forth time when it will start firing on a few cilinders then hopfully the rest join in. After that it runs ok, enough power, slightly rough idle but this dosn't seem to happen after the first start of the day. The leeds and plugs and oil have been done recently. I am thinking maybe coil, maybe MAF, do peoplethink it needs a computer pluging into it to find out. Would the VAG COM kits from e-bay do this job? How easy are they to use? If anyone had any ideas from that discription then please share. Thank you Quote
