Glovebox Lid Replacement

Hi there. I am the new proud owner of a 2001 Galaxy 2.3 Ghia and I love it. Unfortunately, the large glovebox lid on the nearside dashboard has a snapped hinge and I'm wanting to replace it. Does the replacement have to be from a 2001 model or newer , or can I look around for an older one too? I'm not sure when the model changed and if the dashboard changed too.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Before you buy the complete Lid, go into your local Ford Dealer and ask them to show you the Dash section on there EPC, you can buy some of the smaller items like catches, hinge supports, etc, you might be lucky
