New Owner Help

Hi all

i am the proud new owner of an o6 115 tdi and have noticed that at between 1500-2000 rpm in 3rd gear when accelerating it seems very lumpy is this a fault or just the way i drive

when you say lumpy, do you mean that there is a lag??if so, that is the turbo kicking in as it does around that rpm.

 

sorry, just read the 3rd gear bit.

 

any other symptoms?

Hi John,mine was like this a couple of years ago,it was the MAF sensor,managed to get one for just under 40 quid and took seconds to replace(2 security screws and the multi pin plug)
