NikpV Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 i cant find an amp anywhere in the car regards mat i thought the amp if fitted was behind the bottom panel below the radio at least on a mk2 - Quote
mat Posted February 23, 2008 Author Report Posted February 23, 2008 thanks for the swift reply a bit more googling has revealed it should be below the headunit , so i havent got an amp :( Quote
kmac Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 http://www.bluespot.co.uk/install/show_model.asp?id=87 If you scroll down a bit in the above link you can see what the ISO connectors for Galaxies look like ( depends on year) I have a 1998 2.3 GLX and the previous owner had removed the original stereo. So I got mine without any but it seemed to have standard ISO connectors which fitted a kenwood replacement unit. Quote
kmac Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/adaptor-%2F-connecto...0QQcmdZViewItem Found above which is much cheaper and has clear pictures of what they look like - so you can see if they will fit you car Just an FYI - mine has only two plugs - one relates to providing power to the unit, the other connects the speakers. You may have an additional connector if you have remote adjustment of the stereo on the steering wheel or a stalk Edited February 25, 2008 by kmac Quote
