Driver Door Wont Open

Hi, I have a Ford Galaxy 51 plate, just recently my driver door has stopped operating. I can no longer open it from the outside or inside. Ive searched the forum but have been unable to find a solution, so far i have been able to remove the door card but now stuck on what to do next to get the door opened and working again. Any help would be much appreciated.

to open the door you need to release the central locking motor from the door lock inside the door by the door pillar.

 

Once released you will be able to operate the internal handle to open the door.

 

The cause is that the wiring has probably broken with the "deadlock" system set, the remote key can lock or "double lock" the doors and this is effectively a deadlock to prevent any theif from using the door once they have gained entry to the vehicle through a window or something.

i have the same problem with my drivers passenger door i just flick the internal handel a couple ov times and it opens

Quick question how do you flick the internal handle ??? :wacko: And also my remote key no longer works is this a faulty key or is it due to the door failing???

Sorry for the dumb question, but is it possible to release the internal central locking motor with the door closed?? If yes have you gone any tips how to do it please.
