halfhead Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I have just acquired a Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDi Zetec. I believe it is the Mark II version. However, it was first registered in July 2000. Is this possible? All the information I can find on the Mark II is that it was produced from August 2000. Were some delivered early? Or, is it in fact, a Mark I version? Quote
mumof4 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 you will be able to tell just by looking at the front grill on the car, The MKII has a ford badge on the grill, the MKI has a ford badge with a bar running either side of it, also the lights on the tailgate, on the MKI they go all across the tailgate, on the MKII the lights are just on the sides and dont go across the tailgate. mk2vr6 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 and on the mk2 you get a dumb arse clock stuck in the middle of the dash! Quote
mumof4 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Forgot that wee gem of information :D :D Quote
halfhead Posted February 21, 2008 Author Report Posted February 21, 2008 Many thanks... It appears to be the Mark II version. (Also has a CD, parking sensors). Just wondered if it is unusual for it to have been available before August 2000. I get this from the DVLA:Date of First Registration 13 07 2000 Year of Manufacture 2000 Or, do you reckon the "production date" for the Mark II version is "give or take a month"... ? Quote
Justice Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 When I was looking for my Galaxy I came accross a MK1 on a Y plate :D Quote
