gregers Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 im a happy bunny,my gal passed its mot today emissions were well below max limit so the cars running ok,only advisories were a couple of tyres getting near the limit,so its a big sigh of relief. Quote
gregers Posted February 19, 2011 Author Report Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) well it was that time of year again, and she passed with 3 advisories. slight movement in the mcpheason struts,er yeah you had the bloody car jacked up ,so of course there will be. front brake pipes slight corrosion. and near side rear tyre getting close to the limit. still happy days  Edited February 19, 2011 by gregers Quote
cyborg Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 front brake pipes slight corrosion. congrats on pass ,but i never get slight corrosion ! surly the pipes have had it or haven't ! vagueness should not be part of an mot especially where brakes are concerned . I think brakes are one area on the mot where the uk needs to change restriction's. Quote
gregers Posted February 21, 2011 Author Report Posted February 21, 2011 (edited) yeah i did question this cyborg and they said dont worry,so i replyed why put it down as an advisory then if i dont have to worry. i think they were being a bit crittical,i know its there job,but maybe like the supposed play in the front suspension i:e nothing to worry about.
