tiny Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) Winscreens are usually bonded with a polyurethane sealant, commonly referred to as "screen bond", I dont know how easy it would be to retrofit it as it really requires the 2 parts (screen and shell) to be seperate initially so the sealant can be sandwiched between. I would be tempted to pop into your local autoglazing specialist and see what the say. Edited February 11, 2008 by tiny Quote
bigfoot2 Posted February 11, 2008 Author Report Posted February 11, 2008 thanks tinyive been reading through the forums and found members having more or less the same problem and using clear silicone sealant, to repair there leaks.so im going to have a good look at it first and see how big the problem really is, if its a small leak then i will go with the silicone, (interior only)if its a big job then i will take your advice and let the pro's have a look.cheeers materegards Quote
