paul2468 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Hi. I have just bought a 2003 Galaxy Mk2. I have managed to buy a pair of genuine Ford Xenon headlights complete with bulbs and ballasts. I thought I could just fit the lamps and they would be a direct replacement. My problem is that when I fitted the lamps the multiplug connector is different. Although the plug is the same shape I cannot just plug it in because the pin configuration is different. Does anyone have a wiring diagram, or better still a pair of wiring connectors possibly from a salvage car?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks  Quote
insider Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 Don't you also need to fit headlamp washers to comply with the regulations (or do you already have these)? Quote
paul2468 Posted February 7, 2008 Author Report Posted February 7, 2008 Hi. I am not sure. I have never heard of headlamp washers being a requirement. Does anyone have any more information? If this is going to be too difficult I may be selling a pair of xenon headlights in the near future! Quote
insider Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 Have a read through this - http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...st&p=115004.It might be better just to fit brighter bulbs to your existing headlamps. Quote
