daz131 Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Hi all, thanks to those of you who responded to my cry for help with Diagnostic code B0414 have found this to be a faulty maf sensor What i was hoping was if you could browse the following and let me know what these might be.and whether they could be something to do with the MAF Sensor Fault which i have now verified. READOUT FROM DIAGNOSTIC TOOL-- LIVE DATA: Fuel sys1 CL,Faulty HO2SFuel sys2 CL,Faulty H02S MAF lb/min 0.000ABSLT TPS (%) 0.0Second Air Error any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks in advance.... insider Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Surely it's best to fit a new MAF, clear the fault codes, then see if anything re-appears?HO2S is the heated oxygen sensor in the exhaust. Quote
daz131 Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Posted February 6, 2008 Hi Insider, thanks for your post is this the lambda sensor or another one and is this possibly caused by the maf being faulty, also the second air error is this also likely to be caused by the MAF Quote
?Bleeno? Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Daz ...yes this is the Lambda sensor or Oxygen (O2) sensor basically there to control the emissions. Don't know about your secondary air error but I did notice that these readings: MAF lb/min 0.000, ABSLT TPS (%) 0 .... look a bit strange ...... was the engine running during this test? I would expect the MAF to be measuring some air passing through it and the ABSLT TPS ...? I assume this is the TMAP sensor (Inlet manifold Absolute Temp / Pressure sensor) output? So have you definately confirmed the MAF U/S? I can't see how the O2 sensor problem will be caused by a faulty MAF myself. Quote
