mk2vr6 Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 you dont they are two different shaped body shells! if you cant see this you should really seek out a local opticians and see if you can get a free white stick or seeing eye dog! Quote
insider Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 If you're talking about the roof rails that run along the length of the car on either side then mk2vr6 is correct (if a little sarcastic!). These rails are a standard factory fitted item and you would de-value the car by removing them before selling.Roof bars are what usually attach to these rails and run across the width of the car to enable you to carry a load on top of them. If you have these then it might be possible to remove them and fit them to the roof rails on the new Galaxy. Quote
Antioch Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 Yep, it is the rails I am talking about (I think (smile)) If you have read any of my other post's you will see that my 2002 is having a Quote
Willie Krashitt Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 You don't need roof rails on the mk 3's - Things have moved on, and the 'rails' are now integral with the sides of the roof. You now have to buy feet to fit over these rails that hold the cross bars. Its not just Ford - VW and others have all gone this way with their latest models. Quote
