hi guys changed spark plugs the other day and put new one's in plugs 2 and 4 have these black boxes on them so i undone torque screws and put the plugs in thought i would turn it over and it wouldnt start checked connections all ok checked plugs against old one's all ok so. i put old plugs back in and tried again no joy still the same by this time its starting to get dark. well i checked the wiring on these black things sorry for being dim but i dont know what thay are called and thay are in this armoured conjuit stuff. and it was very brittle had some breaks in it so i pulled off all the conjuit and found mullered wires underneath soldered them back together wrapped in electrical tape and tried again. bingo started on the button got to get some form of conjuit to over them again though. just thought it was weird mind you them wires are under that cover and it must get very hot under there so i suppose in time this will happen. i was chuffed at resolving the poblem myself might help you guys out there if you have same problem i must have dislodged the wire taking it apart Edited by big boy stevie

ive had this twice with mine, burnt out both my coil packs other month. i cut all wires and re done them all, and covered them up in new water proof electrical tape. keep them away fron engine as the heat is what cracks them and they break.

so thay are called coil packs then oh well you learn something new everyday, all done now just hope my coil packs dont burn out are these expensive to buy then :) :)

yer they arent cheap, just make sure the wires arent touch the head or exhaust pipes, as the heat will melt/crack them. and ark out and burn coil packs.
