Fixing My Front Seat Tilt Adjustment

The wheel thingy fell of my seat today I had the camera out so thought you might like to see how I fixed it

Nipped down to the local engineers and got him to make me this

Ummm, a new seat knob simply clips on and costs

Ahh, but think of the feeling of personal satisfaction of fixing it yourself !, as you sit back and survey your handiwork, you can take comfort in the fact that you did all that work yourself, and by god it works.

 

Must admit, that the knobs i had in my galaxy ( and i dont mean the prat who sat in the passenger seat ), the knob itself where it clipped on was broke.but i managed without it as i didnt miss it considering i was quite comfy bent double driving the bloomin thing as i couldnt tilt the seat back to upright :27:

but it keeps me out of trouble and gives me something to do and you get to have a laugh

Just want to show my appreciation to Chazy, he was good enough to post me his spare "thingy".

 

Ruddy decent of him, I just hope I am able in the future to be able to do something similar......
