Hi ive got a vw sharan and just thought can you do the paperclip test to get the codes as i have done this on my vectra and ford probe corsa all i need to know is which pins to bridge as my air bag light stays on and i want to know why thanks every one

I would have thought you would be better off with Vag-com !

 

see if there is any one close to you, they might help!

lets narrow it down shall we? how many airbags do you have?

1? then the steering wheel airbag is at fault!

2? then unless you've messed around with the wireing behind the dash? I'd recon on the steering wheel airbag being at fault!

more? then unless you've you've messed around with the wireing behind the dash or under the seats? I'd recon on the steering wheel airbag being at fault!

 

and to help you narrow down the problem? when you turn the steering wheel can you hear any funny noises from the top of the steering column area? clicking, rubbing noises? clock spring springs to mind

if you try and use the search engine it's possible you may find the answer to your problem?
