Hi all

I have a V6 Pertol Galaxy (51), and it has just started a strange sequence of flashing from the led on the drivers door

I have done a little looking up on the www , but not really found an answer, it appears to be a PATS problem, but what I cant determine...

It flashes rapidly for 1 min then 3 flashes 1 flash, reapeated 10 times, and according to the ford manuals online, its a DSM communication issue, which from what I understand it a communication error to the Diesel pump, which would be a problem as it runs on petrol/LPG so doesnt have a diesel pump....

Any Ideas?

thanks

well VAG was no good, but the problem showed up properly so I could fix it.......it was the battery, not holding a charge properly, I wondered why the stations on the radio kept being lost....strange the car would start, except this one time which is how I found out where the problem was...
