timmyspicyman Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 Greetings, this is my first post on this forum. My wife and I are expecting our third child in a few weeks. The newborn will travel in the front seat, as my other two kids car chairs occupy the rear seats. We've got a 99 model, so we can't put a car seat in the middle. Does anyone know if you can disable the passanger airbag? And if so, how? Quote
timmyspicyman Posted December 26, 2007 Author Report Posted December 26, 2007 Duh, should have said. We've got a Galaxy 2.3 Ghia. T-reg. Quote
mumof4 Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 It can be done, ( i think) but i believe a dealer has to do it.Im not sure on your model to be honest.....welcome and congrats on your impending arrival of tiny feet. Quote
Saif Rehman Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Some manufacturers do it, some don't for obvious reasons. When i worked at BMW, we had to a get a disclaimer signed by the customer and file it in a safe! I think insurance companies aren't to keen either. Try the dealer and see what response you get. Quote
