Could someone identify an added extra to my gal. The car has been exported from japan and noticed what seems to be an aeriel on my front bumper on the near side. It is electrical with a switch on the facia below the steering wheel. When extended it can be seen from the drivers seat it also has a green led on top when the lights are on I have been told it is a parking beacon can anyone advise?

It's a parking pole! used to show the boundry of the vehicle when parking, due to the tight parking restrictions and streets in Japan these are used to aid parking, never seen one on a Galaxy! seen a few on import deli's and shoguns...etc

Thanks mate I was told it could be a parking beacon by the guy I bought it from but I was'nt entirely convinced. You say you have seen them before well I haven't guess I haven't noticed on imports. It is a first for me. I was thinking about using it as a flag pole for when england went to the euros. Well thats the end of that . Has anyone else out there got one of these? I wonder why they didn't put one on the back. Having said that they did put those ugly looking mirrors on those previa type models from japan.
