Guest kjell Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I am the owner of a Galaxy 2.3 1998, and have been very confused when trying to check the fuses. The description on the fuse box comprises only symbols, but the fuse numbers do not correspond to the numbers and written expressions in the manual. Is there any possible explanation to this phenomena, and how can I solve it? Quote
Danny Boy Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 I've got the same problem, the ones in the manual dont match either....i havn't got a clue how to solve this besides trial and error!!! Quote
Guest nimrod Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 While digging round in a galaxy at a local breakers I found a credit card sized info sheet on which are printed the details of the fuse board! it goes as far as showing the fuse positions in the board and what they control, great I thought till I got it home and checked it against my galaxy's fuse board! It doesn't match :( its from a 97 VW VR6 and mines a late 96 Ford VR6, it may be down to the different specs for the different manufacturers that the fuse boards do not match the drawings supplied? ridway Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Yep, I've always avoided fuses. Fortunatley I have'nt had the need to change one yet (touching wood). I really don't understand what these levels are that the TIS info refers. I know it is one of those things that I will have to sort out if things go wrong so any pre knowledge would be helpful to me as well Rich Quote
