How Do I Find My Old Car

Im looking into the possibilty of trying to find a car i once owned many years ago with the view to maybe trying to purchase it.

 

A car i had in my younger days and will always be the best car i ever owned.

 

What im looking for is any information as to where to start looking.

 

For all i know it could have been scrapped years ago..

 

Im 99% sure that if i go to my local DVLA office with the registration number they will only say its confidential and shut the door on your way out.

 

Has anyone got any ideas or know of a web site etc etc so that i could start my trip down memory lane.

Thanks folks. I have found out it is still alive, and hasnt changed hands since i sold it in 1997 the problem being where is it.

Find a friend who works for a clamping company, probably cost you less than a fiver.
