Guest Long Tone Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Hi Guys- Does anyone else have the problem that their Galaxy disconnects the water line to the rear screen and pumps H2O into the front passenger footwell each time the rear washer is activated? Then when this is taken care of, the water jet fails to reach the top of the rear screen? Against the generally excellent features of the Galaxy these are minor niggles, but they can be a winter pain in the car's backside! One option might be to move the washer-jet to the top of the rear screen, as on the Zafira. So has anyone actually done this, and if so please could you share info as to how you went about it? Last but not least, is there anywhere where that one can get hold of workshop tech-specs for the 2002 model? All repeatable suggestions welcome! Cheers, Long Tone Quote

Guest Long Tone Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004  Thanks for the helpful suggestions guys - I'm comforted to know that my wife is not the only one getting her feet wet, also that I'm not alone in wanting a rear washer that is more than a little squirt on the lower half of the screen. SA Intruder's photo of pipe fixing in fron footwell are excellent.A site search turned up nothing about relocating the washer jet to the top of the top of the rear screen. Anyone succeeded in doing this?C'mon back to me if so please. Quote
