kevinc6081 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 please help! the other day i had pink creamy water coming out of the overflow. anyway after a few phone calls i believe its the oil cooler for the auto box. ive been and bought one but dont know how to fit it. ive been told its connected to the geerbox(cant see where) also told its near the rad (cant see it)phoned my local fords and they asked me where it was sited. called to garages and was told they dont do oil coolers. ive almost pulled out all my hair. please can anyone give me some advice . many thanks kevin ...... Beyond Help? Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 The one you have bought, is it a cylinder shaped one with two coolant hose connector on it? If it is it is under the battery tray connected to the top of the gearbox. You need to remove the battery tray to get at it, HOWEVER the battery tray holds the gearbox up so you need to do more work first. If this is how yours is then let me know and I will supply you with instructions on how to do it. Quote
